Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Lead to drive process automation, system integration, and digital efficiency across the Group.
This role sits at the intersection of business operations, technology, and strategy and may evolve into a Chief Digital Officer / CTO / CIO position depending on experience and impact.

You will work closely with leadership and department heads to identify inefficiencies, design automation solutions, and implement scalable systems that reduce manual work and improve operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Process Automation & Systems

• Design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines across departments

• Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes and propose automation solutions

• Integrate internal and external tools into cohesive workflows

• Implement scripts, integrations, and system improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Sales, HR, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams

• Translate business needs into technical solutions

• Educate teams on automation opportunities and best practices

Tooling & Optimization

• Research, propose, and implement approved automation tools

• Maintain system stability, data consistency, and process documentation

• Continuously optimize existing automations based on feedback and performance

Authority & Decision Scope

• Propose and implement approved automation tools and solutions

• Recommend process improvements and system architecture changes

• Influence digital strategy and automation roadmap across the Group

Success Metrics (KPIs)

• Reduction in manual and repetitive tasks

• Number and impact of automated processes implemented

• Efficiency gains and time savings across departments

• Quality feedback from internal teams and stakeholders

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with:

  • Python and/or JavaScript

  • Zapier, Make (Integromat) or similar automation platforms

  • APIs and integrations

  • Google Apps Script

  • SQL

  • Basic system administration understanding

• Ability to build reliable, scalable automation solutions
